Class 333: Train 313 22.00 Irun – Lisboa
Santa Apolonia (The Sud Express) was hauled by 333.040 on 27/9, the loco
change took place at Valladolid instead of the usual Medina Del Campo on
this night. On 30/9 train 335 21.56 Lisboa Santa Apolonia – Madrid Chamartin
was 333.202 between Abrantes and Madrid Chamartin, the 333 sits spare all
day at Abrantes, staff at UVIR HQ were quizzed about possible use of
the loco during the day but said at
the moment there were no plans to use it. One train previously seen with
a 333 is the Fridays only 15.10 Madrid Chamartin – Vigo, on 1/10 this was
in the hands of 269.602 out of Madrid.

Class 333: Bad news for the Madrid Chamartin to Pontevedra/ A Coruna and vice versa overnight, this train is now a Talgo with a 354 being observed arriving and running round at Medina del Campo, this is replacing two pairs of 333's between Medina and Ourense and vice versa.
